I just saw your message. I wrote "The Mexican Adventure 1862-1867" (Osprey MAA 272) which gives a short account of this unti, describes its uniforms and has a couple of period photos as well as one figure in a colour plate by Richard Hook, who did an exceptionally fine job on all eight plates. The work concentrates mainly on the Republican and Imperial troops involved in this intervention.
