Greetings Tom Lundy.
I supose that a thousand replies have reached you about the Leather cap.Margaret Vining who replaced Don Kloster at the Smithsonian as been helpful in aiding me in the repoduction of the Cap.The corp of Cadet are reputed to have the Goat skin caps and other forces had what she and the book call synthetic leather which looks and feel light cow hide
