The only other federal post I know of during WWII with the name "Madison" was Madison Barracks in Sackets Harbor, New York, near Watertown. The only other WWII posts that I know of nearby Fort W.H. Harrison in Montana were Fort Missoula and Gore Field. Perhaps the name was an attempt by the War Information Office to fool the enemy somehow?
