[Mexican War] Mexican War Saddles

I am working on an article for the Company Journal on saddles brough back from the War with Mexico. I have the information from "Man Made Mobile" the book put out by the Smithsonian on their Saddle display (1980's) which covered the saddles brough back by Franklin Pierce and General Harney in 1847.

Can anyone out there give me any information on other saddles?
