There was a Canadian connection. Your stick refers to the 165th S Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. It was formed from Canadian personnel at the Canadian Depot, Seige Arty, Horsham on 7/6/16. It embarked Folkestone for Havre 9/16 and was redesignated as 5th Canadian Siege Battery on 8/1/1917.
