In Response To: [AmRevolution] Flag at Kings Mountain (pat ruppe)

There would have been no single flag. The Patriot forces consisted of Virginians, North and South Carolinians, and at least two commands of "Over Mountain" men from what is now Tennessee. I very much doubt that last group bothered carrying flags at all. I'll watch this thread with interest to see if anyone has identified any Patriot flags at that battle. Two of my ancestors were at King's Mountain under John Sevier.
