[WW II] Montana fort

Hello,
I am looking for info about a WWII era base near Helena,Montana. My uncle was in the First Special Service Force during WWII. They trained at Fort William Henry Harrison in Montana. However, I found an old newspaper clipping about my uncle performing a one man duet with harmonica at a nearby fort called Fort Madison.
No one seems to know anything about this fort, yet it is clearly typed as Fort Madison in this newspaper clipping. This news story is listed at the top of the article as being from Helena,Mont.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
Dean Buske
