I am needing some advice on a French Dragoon Helm.
I found a helmet in my family storage and was wondering what it would be worth, and if the ammount is significant where one could sell it..From what ive noticed on the helm, it is all origional. has a strage shape.. the front of the helmet has a broze looking metal with a very intracate design and section on top that is lifted with horse hair coming out of it, and laying back about two feet long. the top section has medusa's head on the front. (not sure if that means anything), It also has the name "Alexis Godillot" ingraved on the back with some numbers above it.
There are a few small dings in the helmet, but it doesnt look like it was due to battle.Any advice would be greatly appricated..
Thanks, Jon Harris
