I never thought of Google!

After your note I tried a search engine called Kartoo.com. I've used it a few times over the past weeks.

Had no luck with any Parsons except the one in Hietmen but did see a pre-war legal document signed by him up for auction.

Also found many sites dealing with NC forces in the Revolution. Although the post-Revolution Army is my interest, I live not far from King's Mountain, Cowpens and Guilford Court House. The mural by McBarron at Cowpens is striking.

Try Kartoo if you haven't already.
