[AmRevolution] Maryland 18th Volunteers

For a book for my grandchildren I am compiling a list of ancestors who fought in various wars. I have found a reference to George Dyer who served with the Maryland 18th Volunteers but I have been unable to verify the existence of this unit. I will very much appreciate verification that it existed and something of where that unit served.
