Here are a few ideas.

1. Visit The Air Force Historical Research Agency web site. (http://www.maxwell.af.mil/au/afhra/) They have a search feature and contact information and may be able to help you.

2. Contact Ray Kling at Patch People, P.O. Box 165, Sugar Grove, IL 60554-0165. He is a member of The American Society of Military Insignia Collectors and regularly publishes lists of patches for sale, including Army Air Force patches. He may have the one you want.

3. Visit the ASMIC website (http://www.asmic.org/). They have a contact feature which you can use to ask a question. Using the map, click on your section of the country and an email form will pop up or click on the president's envelope and a form will pop up. Ask your question and you should get a response in a reasonable period of time.
