[AmRevolution] Capt. Lasher's NY Grenadiers

I've seen a picture of Capt. Lasher's NY Grenadiers in an Osprey book dedicated to American troops during the American Revolution but can't find any historical information about this unit. I've been told that they participated in the Battle of New York and that some were part of Washington's guard during his inauguration but have found no proof of either claim.
Does anyone know anything about the unit....i.e alternate names, officers, enlisted men, the battles they fought, contibutions to the cause, weapons, uniforms, etc.? Refernce material and books is also appreciated.
We sell toy soldiers including figures of Capt. Lashers unit as found in the Osprey book, and try to provide our customers with information about these figures/units. Any feedback about this unit will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!!!
