Recently came across a uniform description of the Stubbs, which became a company of 1st Kansas Volunteers, at http://www.kancoll.org/khq/1937/37_2_caldwell.htm
The description of the uniform is excellent and I hope to draw a uniform plate o this company. However I am having trouble with what appears to be collar insignia:-"10 gold gilt bayonets for coats; 192 silver gilt bayonets for coats"
has anyone come across a such insignia or know what they look like? A photo would be really useful.
