George Wheeler

I am a Past President of the Central Plains Chapter of The Company of Military Historians and was elected a CMH Fellow in 1991. I won the Miller Award for Edged Weapons Display in 1993 and have written various articles for the CMH Journal. I am also a retired Police Master Sergeant and teach graduate school social science and history.

My interests are in American Civil War edged weapons as well as those of Germany from 1919-1945. I am also interested in police troops with a particular emphasis on the German Polizei and the US Constabulary.
