Serious researcher and collector of U.S. Army accoutrements, both leather and cloth, from end of the Revolutionary War until ca. 1870. Have written extensively on the topic for The Company, as well as other publications. Also interested in other Quartermaster topics, such as blankets, and Ordnance topics, such as operations and personnel of the Ordnance Department in the 19th century.
