Dean Cass

I am a re-enactor with Company H of the 13th Regt
PRVC "BUCKTAILS". I also fall in with the 9th Va Infy
Company A. I do a 1st Delaware Infy impression as well.

My interests are battleflags, the ordinary soldier,
battle tactics and uniforms & equipment. I also enjoy
reading regimental histories.

I am currently putting together information so
I can do a first person impression.This will be of
Hugh Watson McNeil... Colonel of the Bucktails killed
at Antietam September.16, 1862.

I have one confirmed ancestor who fought in the
Civil war... Maj.Gen.William T. Sherman. I may have
two who fought under Colonel Cross with the 5th New
Hampshire. Those will be investigated soon.
