Brian Howard

Researching the US forces and events occuring during the War of 1812 in the Chesapeake Bay region of Virginia and Maryland. The living history organization I am a founding member of garrisons Fort Norfolk, Norfolk, VA, as a local Virginia militia regiment. We provide tours and demonstrations for the public. Our events include a weekend event to Commemorate the Battle of Craney Island, June 22, 1813, and the Battle of Hampton, June 25, 1813. Always looking for additional information and documentation to enhance our knowledge of this period and pass that onto the public.
