Student-researcher-writer with primary focus on the Continental Army, and particular specialization on the army's occupation of and operations in the Hudson Highlands of New York. Secondary interest in Confederate enlisted infantry.

Prior, thirty-year collecting focus on Confederate infantry uniforms and accouterments, with particular expertise in standard-issue depot uniforms and Confederate headgear. Current collecting interest focused upon Continental Army longarms, accouterments, uniform buttons and documents.
